In a remarkable display of unity and political harmony, the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders and faithful in Yache Ward have unanimously affirmed Hon. Dr. Stella Oreme Odey-Ekpo as the consensus candidate for the Ogoja/Yala Federal House of Representatives primary election.
The endorsement was led by Sen. Professor Stephen Odey, Esq., Commissioner for Education, Cross River State, and political leader of Yache Ward, who joined party stalwarts in reaffirming their collective support for Hon. Stella Oreme Odey-Ekpo. The affirmation reflects the overwhelming confidence reposed in her by the good people of Yache ward.
In a unanimous decision, members of the APC in Yache ward gave a 100% endorsement, solidifying her position as the APC consensus candidate for the forthcoming 2027 Ogoja/Yala Federal House of Representatives election.
The peaceful, transparent, and well-coordinated process further highlighted the unity, love, and shared vision among APC members in Yache Ward. In appreciation of this show of solidarity, Professor Odey generously supported party members with a donation of ₦1,000,000 to assist for transportation and refreshments.
Consequently, Hon. Dr. Stella Oreme Odey-Ekpo emerged victorious in Yache ward through this consensus affirmation, setting the stage for the next phase of the electoral process. The collation/returning officers for Yache ward are: Mr. Monday Egbedor and Ms. Mercy Akpobi.
