Guests from Lagos and other parts of the country have begun arriving in Calabar ahead of the wedding and Professorial Thanksgiving of Sen. Prof. Stephen Odey and his beloved wife, Mrs. Monica Odey, scheduled for tomorrow.
Among those already on ground are Mountain Black, popularly known as the “Danfo Driver,” Mr. Austine Odey, Mr. Chris Okeke, and Dr. Otunba Sunday Obiyinka—a business mogul and personal friend of Professor Odey—alongside other distinguished guests.
The wedding and Professorial Thanksgiving will hold on Saturday at St. Patrick’s Parish Catholic Church, Ikot Ansa, by 11:00 a.m., with the reception following at the Calabar International Conference Centre, Calabar, by 2:00 p.m.
