SEN. PROF. STEPHEN ODEY BIDS LATE SIR PLACIDUS UGAH OGAR FAREWELL, COMMISERATES WITH FORMER GOVERNOR AYADE AND FAMILY

Sen. Prof. Stephen Odey, Esq., on Saturday joined family members, friends, political leaders, and distinguished personalities from across Cross River State and beyond to bid a final farewell to late Mr. Placidus Ugah Ogar, while expressing his heartfelt condolences to the immediate past Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Sir Benedict Ayade CON, the entire family, and loved ones over the painful loss. The funeral, held in Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State, attracted the crème de la crème of the state and beyond, reflecting the remarkable life, influence, and legacy of a worthy and uncommon father.

Professor Odey prayed God to grant the bereaved family the strength, comfort, and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. The Education Commissioner was accompanied by prominent political stakeholders from Yache Nation, including Hon. Idiku David, former Secretary of Yala Local Government Council; Hon. John Monday Odo, Director, Cross River State Road Maintenance Agency; Hon. Joe Idu, former Vice Chairman, Yala LGA; Elder Chris Idu; Coach Manu Hilary Idagu; Hon. Christopher Mohie, Councillor representing Yache Ward; and several other distinguished leaders and stakeholders.
