The Cross River State Commissioner for Education, Sen. Prof. Stephen Odey, Esq., on Thursday attended the Huawei Education Summit held at the Abuja Continental Hotel.
The summit brought together key stakeholders from the education and technology sectors to deliberate on innovative strategies for advancing digital transformation in Nigeria’s education system. Discussions centered on the integration of ICT and Artificial Intelligence in education, as well as the presentation of awards to deserving students.
Despite his participation in the ongoing five-day retreat of the 36 States’ Commissioners for Education, Professor Odey demonstrated unwavering commitment by also attending the Huawei Education Summit. The week has been particularly demanding, yet he remained actively engaged in both national assignments. His presence at these high-level engagements underscores Cross River State’s dedication to embracing technology-driven solutions that will enhance teaching, learning, and overall educational development.
