Senator Professor Stephen Odey, Esq., alongside his lovely wife, Mrs. Monica Odey, on Sunday warmly received members of the Yache Council of Elders at their residence in Okuku.
The elders paid a courtesy and congratulatory visit to celebrate the couple on the successful solemnization of their marriage and professorial thanksgiving recently held in the ancient city of Calabar—an event the elders were unable to attend due to prior engagements, age, and other constraints.
In his response, Professor Odey expressed deep appreciation for the visit, thanking the elders for their sincere and enduring show of love and support. He acknowledged God’s continued faithfulness in their lives and emphasized the importance of unity, noting that only through collective harmony can meaningful development be achieved.
