The Cross River State Commissioner for Education, Senator Professor Stephen Odey, paid a fact-finding visit to Government College, Ikot Ansa, Calabar. The visit forms part of the Commissioner’s ongoing statewide assessment tour of schools, aimed at evaluating the condition of infrastructure, teaching facilities, and the overall learning environment.
Speaking during the visit, Senator Professor Odey reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening supervision and improving educational standards across the state. He charged the school principal and teachers to remain diligent and dedicated in the discharge of their duties, emphasizing that their commitment is vital in complementing the efforts of His Excellency, Governor Bassey Otu, who is deeply passionate about transforming the education sector in Cross River State.
