Saturday 14, June 2025 Nigerians in Germany gathered in Alexanderstreet 40, 10179, Berlin -Mitte to conduct its official elections for 2025. Nido(Germany) members traveled from different parts of Germany for the elections . The elections were conducted in a peaceful and fair environment.
The candidates running for different positions presented their manifestos before the commencement of the elections in line with the constitution of the organization. The following officials elected to occupy the various offices include:
1.President: Dr Moses Ogun
2.Vice President: Engr Shakiru .k. Oladunjoye
3.General Secretary: Mr Charles Onyeanuforo
4. Assistant General Secretary: Michael Ejenobo
5. Project officer: Dr Aliyu Makama
6.Treasurer: Prince Abiola Maiyegun
7.Financial Secretary: Mr Ayodeji Ayansola
8.Public Relations Officer: Dr Matthew Okiri Okeyim.
9.IT officer: Olusegun Alawaiye
In another development, the Board of Trustees who serves in advisory capacity were also appointed. They include: Mr Adeyemi Ademuyiwa, Mr Peter Oshiomegie, Mrs Stephania Alofuokhai-Ghogomu, Mrs Mary Bruder, Mr Kazeem Ojoye.
Hon Dr. Abike Dabiri Erewa NiDCOM Chief Executive Chairman joined the hybrid and remote event. The NiDCOM Boss assured the NIDO (Germany) of her willingness to work NiDCOM to bring development to Nigeria.
Dr. Moses Ogun, the president, elected in his own remarks, thanked NIDO Germany for the trust and confidence bestowed on him to run the affairs of the organization. The president congratulated the newly elected officials and wished them a successful tenure.
