The Commissioner for Education, Cross River State, Sen. Prof. Stephen Odey, Esq., on Friday led prominent political stakeholders from Yache Nation on a condolence visit to the immediate past Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Sir Benedict Ayade CON, and his family, following the passing of his elder brother, Late Ukandi Placidus Ugah Ogar.
Speaking during the visit, Professor Odey, on behalf of the good people of Yache Nation, expressed heartfelt sympathies to the Ayade family and all loved ones affected by the loss. He encouraged them to find comfort in the impactful and exemplary life lived by the deceased, noting that Late Mr. Placidus left behind a legacy of goodwill and service that will remain indelible in the sands of time.
He further prayed for God’s divine consolation upon the family, asking that they be granted the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, while also committing the soul of the departed to eternal rest.
