The Cross River State Commissioner for Education, Senator Professor Stephen Odey, Esq., has been honoured with a Congratulatory Award by the Public Administration Students Association (PASA), University of Calabar, in recognition of his outstanding leadership, academic excellence, and remarkable contributions to public service. The association was led on the visit by Dr. Freeman Ogar, a lecturer in the Department of Public Administration, University of Calabar.
Speaking during the presentation, the President of PASA, Abachor Daniel, expressed the association’s deep admiration for Professor Odey, describing him as an exceptional leader, mentor, and role model whose achievements continue to inspire students and young people across the state and beyond. He noted that the students had long admired the Commissioner from afar and were delighted to have the opportunity to interact with him personally.
The association commended Senator Odey for his well-deserved professional accomplishments, unwavering commitment to knowledge, excellence in scholarship, and selfless service to humanity. They emphasized that his achievements continue to inspire generations while bringing honour to his family, community, and the nation.
