December 15, 2025, will remain indelible in our collective memory as an extraordinary day marked by an overwhelming outpouring of goodwill and solidarity, as Senator Professor Stephen Odey, Esq., was formally sworn in and administered the Oath of Office as a Notary Public by Hon. Justice Akon B. Ikpeme of the High Court of Justice, Mary Slessor Avenue, Calabar. The occasion was further elevated by the coincidence of his birthday, transforming the event into a remarkable double celebration of service and life, held at Hugis Luxury, Calabar.
Senator Professor Stephen Odey is a leader of uncommon vision, integrity, and unwavering commitment to public service. His dedication to good governance, education reform, and human capital development continues to inspire confidence and renewed hope among the people.
During the celebration, he graciously paused the festivities to express appreciation to all who came to celebrate with him, while also charging stakeholders to sustain their support, prayers, and commitment to the administration of His Excellency, Governor Bassey Otu, in the collective pursuit of a more prosperous Cross River State.
