The Cross River State Commissioner for Education, Senator Professor Stephen Odey, on Thursday, December 4, 2025, received Mr. Abru Gabriel Mohie during a courtesy visit to his office in Calabar.
Mr. Mohie, who recently obtained his original results from the Cross River State University after completing his degree in 2023, visited the Commissioner to express profound gratitude for his continuous support and guidance throughout his academic journey. He noted that he would not have successfully completed his studies or secured his results without the mentorship and encouragement he received from Senator Odey. He was accompanied on the visit by Comrade Emmanuel Odey Ogbaj.
In his remarks, Senator Odey expressed joy over Mr. Mohie’s academic achievements and congratulated him on the successful collection of his original results. He commended the young graduate for his determination and advised him to remain focused as he advances in his career.
The Commissioner further emphasized the importance of putting acquired knowledge and skills to meaningful use. He offered prayers for Mr. Mohie’s future endeavors and encouraged him to remain steadfast and committed in all his pursuits.
