I am profoundly grateful to His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Hon. Minister of Education, Dr. M. O. Alausa, for finding me worthy to serve our nation in yet another capacity as Member Governing Council of the National Teachers’ Institute (NTI).
Being appointed to represent the South–South geo-political zone on this important Governing Council of NTI—entrusted with the responsibility of providing strategic direction, oversight, and support to the Institute—is a great honour, and I fully appreciate the magnitude of the task ahead.
There is no doubt that this appointment is a reflection of the remarkable reforms and positive transformation currently taking place in the education sector in Cross River State. I wholeheartedly acknowledge that the credit for this recognition goes to His Excellency, Governor Bassey Otu, who entrusted me with the responsibility to serve and has consistently provided the encouragement and support necessary to implement impactful, far-reaching reforms that have earned commendation from the Federal Government.
I hereby assure Mr. President, my Governor, and the Hon. Minister of Education that I will work collaboratively with other distinguished Governing Council and Board Members to diligently and effectively deliver on this National Assignment.
