
OGOJA COUNCIL CHAIRMAN CHARGES WARD RELATIONS OFFICERS ON GRASSROOTS SERVICEThe Executive Chairman of Ogoja Local Government Council, Chief Hon. Christopher Agbeh, has urged Ward Relations Officers across the Local Government Area to remain proactive, responsive and committed to serving as the eyes and ears of government at the grassroots.Speaking during an interactive meeting with the officers, Chief Agbeh said his administration is determined to ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every community. He directed the officers to compile accurate data on vulnerable persons and their specific needs to enable the Council provide timely and targeted interventions.Responding on behalf of the officers, Mr. Joseph Momnang (Ekajuk Ward I), Mr. Benedict Ofere (Mbube East Ward II), and Mrs. Agartha Kanjal (Nkum Irede Ward) thanked the Chairman for the confidence reposed in them and pledged to work diligently in line with the administration’s vision, while ensuring that the needs and aspirations of the people at the grassroots are effectively communicated to government.
