Yache, Gabu and Yala community stakeholders resident in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, have concluded plans to host the Cross River State Commissioner for Education, Senator Professor Stephen Odey, Esq., in Port Harcourt on March 14, 2026.
This follows a courtesy visit paid to Professor Odey on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at his Calabar residence by the stakeholders, led by Engineer Abini F. John. During the visit, the delegation formally invited the Commissioner for an interactive engagement scheduled to hold in Port Harcourt.
Senator Professor Stephen Odey expressed appreciation to the stakeholders for recognizing his contributions to the advancement and well-being of his people. He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to development, noting that sustainable progress is rooted in unity, collaboration, and collective purpose. He further urged the delegation to continue promoting unity and togetherness among their people.
