Senator Professor Stephen Odey, Esq., Cross River State Commissioner for Education, paid a New Year and congratulatory courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Ogamode Eje Ipuole, the Paramount Ruler of Yala Local Government Area.
During the visit, Professor Odey warmly congratulated His Royal Majesty on his emergence as the Paramount Ruler of Yala LGA. He presented gifts and wished him many fruitful years of wisdom, peace, and success on the throne. He also expressed confidence in the monarchβs leadership, praying that Yala Local Government Area would attain greater unity, progress, and enviable heights under his reign.
His Royal Majesty, Ogamode Eje Ipuole, joyfully received Senator Odey and offered prayers and royal blessings for his continued service, protection, and success. The visit featured cordial and productive deliberations on matters of peace, development, and the overall wellbeing of the people of Yala LGA.
In appreciation of the visit, the Paramount Ruler presented Senator Professor Stephen Odey with a live goat and tubers of yam, symbolizing goodwill and traditional hospitality. Accompanying the Commissioner were Hon. Idiku David, former Secretary of Yala Council; Hon. John Monday Odo, Director of the State Road Maintenance Agency; Mr. Julius Agribe of the Human Rights Commission, Abuja; and several other dignitaries.
