Senator Professor Stephen Odey Celebrates New Year with Yache Nation and Cross River North Supporters

Senator Professor Stephen Odey, Esq., Commissioner for Education, Cross River State, joyfully celebrated the New Year with the people of Yache Nation and supporters drawn from across the Local Government Areas of Cross River North.

The New Year celebration, which recorded a massive turnout of party faithfuls and well-wishers, was marked by far-reaching empowerment initiatives. Senator Odey distributed cars, motorcycles, sewing machines, over 300 bags of rice, cash supporter and several other items to support his loyal supporters and members of the community.

Addressing the gathering, Senator Professor Odey conveyed his heartfelt New Year wishes and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to societal development and the improvement of livelihoods across Cross River North.
Professor Odey further pledged his continued support for the administration of His Excellency, Governor Bassey Otu, noting that the Governor’s People First mantra aligns perfectly with his vision of inclusive growth, empowerment, and sustainable development for the state. The celebration underscored Professor Odey’s dedication to grassroots engagement, unity, and service to humanity.

Dignitaries in attendance included the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Hon. Boniface Okache, who represented His Excellency and commended Senator Odey for his exemplary leadership and empowerment initiatives across Cross River North, describing him as a trusted and tested leader.

Also speaking, Hon. Odey Brian, Member representing Yala I State Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, praised Professor Odey for his uncommon generosity and people-centred leadership. Several other top government officials, political leaders, and stakeholders were also in attendance.
