It was a day of joy and thanksgiving as Senator Professor Stephen Odey, Commissioner for Education, Cross River State, joined the faithfuls and well-wishers in celebrating Very Rev. Dr. Matthew Odah Otuji’s triple milestones—his Emerald Jubilee (Birthday), Silver Jubilee of Priestly Ordination, Celebration of conferment of Doctorate Degree, and the presentation of two books.

The grand event, held at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, Igoli–Ogoja, was chaired by AVM Ogbeche (Rtd). Two books authored by Rev. Dr. Otuji and Fr Emmanuel Ukata, were unveiled at the occasion:
“Called by Grace: A Portrait of Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Matthew Otuji” and, “My Thoughts & Experience: 25 Reflections from a Priest at 25.”
Senator Professor Odey had the honour of reviewing “Called by Grace: A Portrait of Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Matthew Otuji.” In his remarks, he described the work as a rich and inspiring contribution to knowledge, strongly recommending it to the reading public. He also made a cash donation in support of the book launch.
