Earlier on Tuesday June 3, 2025, at the Ministry of Education Headquarters Calabar, the Wilmar Award of Honour was bestowed upon Senator Associate Professor Stephen Odey, Commissioner for Education Cross River State, in acknowledgement of his outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to enhancing education in the state. Mr Paul Odey, Administrative Manager, presented the award on behalf of the Wilmar group.
The Commissioner acknowledged the group’s exceptional contributions, remarking, “This award is dedicated to God and the good people of Cross River State, and it inspires me to further dedication to serving humanity. I am thankful for the recognition you have given me,” he stated.
