The Political Leader of Yache Nation, Senator Professor Stephen Odey, Esq., on Saturday, January 3, 2026, commissioned the All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat located at Alifokpa, the headquarters of Yache Ward.
The commissioning ceremony was performed by Oyorgu I of Yache Nation, shortly after his return from the funeral ceremony of the late Hon. Sunny Gabe Ugor, former Executive Chairman of Yala Local Government Council.
The event was witnessed by members of the entire APC Yache Ward Executive, led by the Ward Chairman, Mr. Julius Igbadu, Yache youths, and several party stalwarts, who accompanied Senator Professor Stephen Odey to the venue.
The newly commissioned and beautifully completed APC Secretariat was donated and facilitated by Senator Professor Stephen Odey, who carried out the commissioning on behalf of His Excellency, Governor Bassey Otu, the leader of our great party in Cross River State.
Members of the party expressed great excitement and satisfaction during the event, as the Ward Chairman, Mr. Julius Igbadu, formally appreciated Oyorgu I for his support and the donation of the party secretariat. He noted that the commissioning was timely, especially as the APC prepares for the forthcoming online membership registration exercise.
