Senator Professor Stephen Odey, Esq., Oyorgu 1, on Thursday, January 1, 2026, attended the house-warming ceremony of Mr. Aju James at Aji-Alifokpa Yache.
Speaking at the event, Oyorgu 1 commended Mr. James for his determination and commitment to returning home to contribute meaningfully to community development through the construction of such a beautiful edifice. He described the gesture as commendable and worthy of emulation.
Professor Odey further encouraged other sons and daughters of Yache land in the diaspora to always remember home by investing in projects that foster growth, unity, and sustainable development within the community.
He prayed that the new home would be a source of shelter, peace, joy, and abundant blessings for Mr. James, his family, and all who would come under its roof.
