My earlier post on Prof Zana’s defection seems to have been overtaken by events. Bcos I hear the APC in CRN, is set to receive the incumbent Representative of Obudu/Obanliku/Bekwarra. Akpanke won’t be a match for Prof Zana. Akpanke’s notoriety has come to the fore in the last couple of years. Asides his penchant for backstabbing his benefactors without thinking twice, he has been in the news for the wrong reasons. In less than four years, he has backstabbed Representative Legor & Senator Jarigbe back-to-back(pun intended). Na him wise pass ba? Also, from feedback I have been getting all afternoon, Prof Zana affected a lot of lives positively during his time as VC of the prestigious UNICAL.
The APC in CRS would have to do their homework & field candidates that are popular & rugged enough to win them the 2027 congressional election in the NSD.
