Nigeria commemorates Children’s Day annually to pay tribute to children globally and allow adults to reflect on their childhood experiences. Senator Stephen Odey, Cross River State Commissioner for Education, acknowledged the efforts of His Excellency, Senator Apostle Prince Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State. The Governor has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of Cross River children, as evident in the recent free WAEC registration of 14,801 Cross River students, among other initiatives for children.
The Commissioner extended his warmest wishes to all Cross River children and Nigerian children on the occasion of Children’s Day, promising to sustain their quality education for them to excel and attain desired success in life.
