I said, just two things:
- Rebuild Confidence and 2. Hope in the hearts of Cross Riverians.
He was confused but let me explain:
- Confidence Cross River lost so many infrastructures to Maintenance Negligence and the EndSars protest saga.
The State Library, The State Newspaper Corporation, the Cultural Centre Complex, Many MDAs Office Structures were nothing good, lowing workers morals and the general public losing faith. Even the Governor’s Office Complex was in a very bad state. These structures became the den of thieves and reduced the beauty of Calabar to nothing compared to the darling clean state known before.
This administration did not waste any time but to kick start with rehabilitating these structures and redesigning same to modern looks and style.
In the Area of Roads, it was near impossible to travel from Calabar to Uyo by Road. But with the Completion of the Adiabo Bridge linking the road through to Itu Head Bridge, brought so much relief to the people.
The Parliamentary Extension through to Destination Calabar Johnathan By-pass Road, that almost made living at the end of Parliamentary extension fearful and with high security risk, is today, under rehabilitation and final touch of modernity. With lots of other roads network across the state.
With this deliberate actions taken so far, many Cross Riverians today, are Confident that the administration is living up to her mantra of “People First Government.”
- Rebuilding Hopes in the Hearts of Cross Riverians.
This Hope isn’t a camouflage kind of Hope but one rooted in His nature, Past Antecedents, Spirit and body. Hope anchored on a daring, kind and generous heart.
Once upon a time he did the unprecedented empowerment, a record that is unbroken to date. He thought deep into the lives of his close men and handed over Land and Money to start building on the land.
This maybe in time past, but today, that action is igniting Hopes, confirming that He is large enough to share as well as large enough to take blames alone..
He went through the circles of disappointments and betrayals in Politics, but never lost sight or focus. He kept his spirit lifted even in the hardest of all times.
There is hope that his political decisions will always be galvanized with a human face.
Hopes in the fact that He respects everything done by those before him, and is doing all in his powers to either get them rehabilitated or take them to concluding completion..
He has made Cross Riverians to Trust the system again.
